What budget to have before coming?
The distance with family and friends is not too difficult to manage?: The first year for me was complicated. But in the end you get used to it and then when you go back to France for the holidays, you fill up and you realize how lucky you are to live in Caledonia!
Are the people nice? Are the Metros well received?
Are there often vacancies?
Is it easy to meet people?
Is life really more expensive than in mainland France?: Life is on average 50% more expensive than in France.
